Bhutan officially the kingdom of Bhutan is a land locked country in south Asia situated in the Eastern Himalayas between China in the north and India in the south. It is a country with Buddhists. It is a home to all the Drukpa's. Most of the Bhutan's places are covered with Cypress tree. Gangkhar Puensum is the Bhutan's highest peak and is the highest unclimbed mountain in the world.

The capital and largest city is Thimphu. It is situated in the western central part of Bhutan, and the surrounding valley is one Bhutan's Dzongkhags, the Thimphu District. The ancient capital city of Punakha was replaced by Thimphu as capital in 1955, and in 1961 Thimphu was declared as the capital of the Kingdom of Bhutan by the 3rd Druk Gyalpo Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.

His Majesty was born on 21st February 1980 at Paropakar Maternity and Womans Hospital in Kathmandu. He is the eldest son of the fourth Dragon king of Bhutan, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, and his third wife, Ashi Tshering Yangdon. He has a younger sister, Princess Ashi Dechen Yangzom, and brother Prince Gyaltshab Jigme Dorji, as well as four half-sisters and three half-brothers. He is the King of the kingdom Bhutan.
